Another set of Aston Martin alloy wheels in for Diamond cut wheel renovation. After the general repair work is carried out and the colour applied, in this case silver, the wheels are now ready to be cut so that the final effect can be applied. The wheel is first mounted into the CNC lathe ready for digitizing so that a profile may be made for cutting.

After the computer has developed a profile the wheel is now been ready for cutting. The wheel is spun at high speeds while a fine diamond tip cuts away a very small layer of the face erasing all damage. This is accurate to hundredth of a mm, and no distortion can happen using our state of the art machine.
Below you now see a wheel after coming off the CNC just ready to be cleaned and a clear coat lacquer applied. After this tyres will be re-mounted, balanced and then fitted to the vehicle.
